ELLEGARDEN Surprise-Release 'Everything I Need', Their First New Song in 14 Months, on Tour Opening Night
Japanese rock band ELLEGARDEN released a new song, 'Everything I Need', without any advance notice on October 13. It is their first new song in about 14 months, since 'Carmine' in August 2025. New artist photos were also revealed the same day.
First played on the tour's opening night
The song was first heard at Zepp Fukuoka on October 13, the opening show of the nationwide Bad For Education Tour II (2026). The band played it as a surprise, and it became available on streaming services the same day.
It is their first headline tour in about three years, taking its name from the Bad For Education Tour of 2004. Along with six cities in Japan, the schedule includes a show in Seoul, South Korea.
A note from BRUSH MUSIC
ELLEGARDEN have built a following for more than 20 years with rock sung in English. This time they played a song live for the first time and put it on streaming services worldwide the same night. The excitement in the room spreads on social media, and fans abroad waiting for the Seoul show can hear it on the same day. Changing the order of an announcement can change how far a new song travels.
