GAJ's take

The announcement lands on a weeknight evening in Japan. GAJ will post a category-by-category roundup of the results on announcement day. Whether a Japanese work makes the new Asian pop category is something no one will know until the list is read. For teams thinking about future entries, looking at how this year's nominated works were released is a useful place to start preparing.

Requirements, deadlines and dates change every year. Always check Grammy.com for the latest information.
