adieu, the music project of actor and singer Moka Kamishiraishi, held her first overseas solo concert, "adieu Live at Billboard Live TAIPEI 2026," in Taiwan on Sunday, Oct. 18. After building her live career in Japan, she played two shows that night, 1st Show and 2nd Show, performing 15 songs for fans in Taipei.

From 'Tabidachi' to her debut song 'Narratage'

Backed by a band of guitar, bass, piano and drums, she opened with "Tabidachi" and picked up a guitar herself for "Blue Hour" and "Kokoro wo Sagashite Iru." On stage she said she has loved Taiwan for a long time and often visits on her own, and that she was happy to hold her first overseas solo show there. The main set ended with "Yoru no Ato," and the night closed with "Narratage," her 2017 debut song.

Yaffle joins the band for the encore

For the encore she performed "Sasakure," released on Sept. 25 as the theme song for the animated feature film "We Are Aliens" (Wareware wa Uchujin). The song was written, composed and arranged by Yaffle, who joined the band on stage that night, so the two people behind the song performed it together in Taiwan.

Our take

Instead of starting big, adieu chose an intimate room like Billboard Live, in a city she has visited many times, to meet fans face to face. It is a grounded way to take a first step abroad. We will be watching how her songs spread in Taiwan from here.
